Journal Synopsis

2. Mindfulness Photo

Each daily mindful photo is different, and allows some reflection time focused on a Zen or nature inspired image.  This gives your brain a much needed break to recharge, like popping your phone on charge for a few minutes to stop it going flat. By taking time daily to recharge your personal and emotional energy through mindfulness, you can avoid burnout and overwhelm while taking time to recenter.

3. Mindfulness Journal Entry Lines

This can be use for reflecting thought processes, either writing something mindful from your day, some accomplishments, or some thoughts that are troubling you that you can sit with, while doing the other activities.  By getting thoughts out onto paper, you see them more objectively, reducing stress, and can move on to thinking about solutions.  Recovering from health?  This is also a great way to track your progress, by logging your movements, feelings, and hopes towards full recovery, or by logging other activities that help you feel good.

4. Daily Gratitude

A powerful way to improve mental wellbeing is to share gratitude daily, for your achievements, belongings, family & friends, support, and your own skills or progress.  This induces feel good hormones that help combat depression, stress, and overwhelm.

5. Zen Colouring Activity

Finding time to do something creative, also helps improve mental health.  You don't have to be good Zen colouring to simply enjoying the process, and accept the outcome as it is.  Zen colouring helps build resilience and positive thinking. This in turn helps find peace and relaxation from burnout, or inspires recovery from illness or depression.

About Kay Reeve

Mother, grandmother, Trainer, Author and TEDx Speaker, I love sharing the experiences I have gained through books, courses, mentoring and  workshops. It is my passion to help parents and adults navigate or even avoid the pitfalls of supporting teens, that I faced when my children were teenagers. My son was diagnosed ASD, and was suicidal for 12 years on and off.  My mission is to share how we turned his life around, and make emotinal learning, easy and accessible for everyone.  Now with four grandchildren growing fast, this is both my legacy for them, and my mission for helping you.  More about Kay...

Mission Statement

With the power of BEING HUMAN - My mission is to create a top-down culture for learning Emotional Awareness at a foundational level.  This will be achieved through home, education, work, and charities or therapy rooms.

Through my books, courses, mentoring and training, I will support adults, teachers, managers leaders, to teach teens and young adults how to thrive in today's complex world, through emotional learning.

With many neurodivergent individuals being VISUAL learners, my strategy is fully inclusive of ASD, ADD, ADHD, Non-Verbal, and more.  Everyone deserves to feel in control of their own emotions.
