Some of the most valuable self-help and wellbeing books begin with knowledge developed through professional practice, community work or lived experience.
You may already use that knowledge to support clients, families, teams or communities. Book Mentoring helps you shape it into an accessible resource that can continue helping people beyond the conversation, workshop or support session in which it began.
As part of the Hidden Path Community & Practitioners journey, this is a quiet, practical pathway for turning valuable insight into something others can read, revisit and share.
Book Mentoring may be suitable if you are a:
The focus is on self-help, emotional wellbeing, personal development and books that offer readers meaningful understanding or practical support.
You do not need to arrive with a completed manuscript. You may have an early idea, a collection of notes, an existing workshop or years of knowledge that you are not yet sure how to organise.
Every author and every book begins in a different place. Book Mentoring can help you:
You remain the author and retain control of your work. My role is to help illuminate the process - true Hidden Path Style - organise the journey and guide you over the obstacles that commonly cause aspiring authors to stop.
This is mentoring rather than ghostwriting or a complete publishing package. You do the writing, supported by practical guidance and a clearer route from concept to finished book.
Books offer people a private and accessible way to begin exploring difficult subjects. They allow readers to pause, reflect and return when they are ready for the next step.
Within Hidden Path Leadership, books can support personal development, family understanding, professional practice and continued learning. They may introduce an idea, reinforce something learned through training or help someone discover another relevant pathway.
Book Mentoring enables practitioners and community leaders to contribute resources shaped by their own specialist knowledge—extending the collective learning available throughout the Hidden Path ecosystem.
The Self-Help Bookshelf provides an additional public connection between authors and the people who may benefit from their work.
Where a completed book aligns with the purpose and values of the Self-Help Bookshelf, there may be opportunities for collaborative visibility, author conversations and shared promotion. Inclusion is considered important in the Self Help Bookshelf while it is not an automatic requirement for Book Mentoring or topics.
The aim is not to create a stream of disconnected promotions. It is to develop trusted relationships between authors whose books offer genuine value within self-help, wellbeing and personal development.
We help each other - to help others.
I understand the self-publishing journey because I have travelled it through my own books and supported other authors as they developed theirs.
My background in Emotional Awareness, adult education, leadership skills, and visual learning, all influence how I approach book development. I help authors make complex or deeply personal material easier for readers to follow without removing the author’s personality, experience or voice.
Together, we look for the hidden structure already within your knowledge and turn it into a path your reader can follow.
If you have knowledge, experience or an idea that could become a valuable self-help or wellbeing book, begin with an exploratory conversation.
You do not need to know the complete structure or understand every stage of publishing before getting started. We can establish where you are now, what you hope the book will achieve and what kind of support would help you move forward.
